P1 Service, LLC., is seeking an exceptional Sales Professional for the Des Moines IA area, based in our Ankeny, IA office.

This highly visible sales role is responsible for selling HVAC Service Agreements to Commercial Buildings in a predetermined territory, focusing on hospitals/healthcare, manufacturing, data centers, education and hospitality. This opportunity focuses on setting opportunities with C-Suite, Vice Presidents and Directors and determining if a partnership is viable. If you have experience in sales, industry experience is not a must. The role is a pay-per-performance opportunity with a significant base salary and escalating commissions based on revenue sold. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Plans, efficiently schedules appointments and manages time to assure maximum productivity.  
  • Prospecting and Consultive Selling 
    • Develops and sustains a continuous prospecting process to identify and contact qualified leads. 
    • Uses approved consultive selling techniques to determine prospects, customer needs and to match P1 capabilities to those needs. 
    • Writes proposals, makes sales presentations and closes sales contracts.
    • Manages prospect and customer relations throughout the sales cycle and sustains a supportive working relationship with customers to include monitoring their satisfaction with P1’s maintenance service. 
Required Education and Experience 
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. 
  • 2 years of sales experience. 
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook and Word. 
  • Must live in general area of specified sales territory – Des Moines area

Preferred Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree.  
  • Possesses a demonstrated record of success in selling services or other intangible offerings.  
  • Must be self-disciplined, results driven and accustomed to consistent high performance. 
  • Desire, ability, skills and leadership to manage the entire sales cycle. 
  • Open minded and willing to learn new methods and concepts.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Sales hunter mentality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication.
